Melanie and her puppies were seen dumped out of a transit van in Killusty Co Kilkenny and were brought to us by concerned members of the public. Not only did all three dogs have severe mange, but Melanie also had a broken elbow and the pups came down with a stomack bug a few days after their rescue.
Thanks to our great vet in Clonmel the puppies survived and have gone to new homes in Sweden.
Melanie's leg healed well, her mange cleared up surprisingly fast and she has found a great home in the US thanks to Greyhound Friends in Massachusets.
