This Tiny little lady arrived tonight. She has been sighted several times this week locally. How she survived I will never know. She ate a little food and retched as it hit her tummy. This is why we do, what we do... day after day every day.
Her little leg appears to be broken, will have her checked tomorrow. This one holds her head so high and proudly, she seems to say. "I won't let you see my pain' 'I am a lady'.
Emma's leg was indeed broken and had to be fixed in cast. It's healed nicely and she is putting on weight. She is a little bit nervous and scared of strangers, no wonder after all she has gone through!
We have great news! Emma has found a new home in Italy!
