Supporters make time for tea for PAWS fundraiser

29th April 2018

The annual PAWS tea party fundraiser, hosted by the dedicated, long term PAWS supporters and all round wonder women, Catriona Gibbons and Kay O’ Brien, was held once again this past Saturday in Gowran, Co Kilkenny.  Lots of people attended the event to put the kettle on, enjoy a bun or slice of cake all and a chinwag in aid of PAWS.  Extra helpings of sandwiches and cakes were encouraged, all for a good cause of course! Later in the afternoon, there was a fab raffle with some amazing prizes.  Everyone enjoyed themselves and the Tea Party raised a whopping €730.00 for PAWS.

The event was held to help raise funds for sponsorship as Catriona Gibbons will be participating in the VHI women’s mini marathon this Summer, as she does every year for PAWS.  So, keep an eye and ear out for some of her other annual fundraisers or donate to PAWS directly on www.paws.ie/donate to help abandoned, abused and homeless dogs in PAWS’ care.
