Sassy. She is 9 years old, 10.5kg (overweight), She is house-trained, kennel-trained, chipped and vaccinated. She is a bit nervous/timid around new people, but will settle quickly and is very loving toward her people/family. She does fine with other dogs, not at all aggressive, but she will mostly keep to herself – she doesn’t really play with other dogs, so would be better in a single dog household.
She is extremely well-traveled, mellow and easy-going – does well in cars, on trains. She comes when called and knows the command ‘sit’, but because she’s bow-legged she curtsies and sits on her hip. She walks well on a lead and enjoys going on walks, but at a very leisurely pace (i.e., she’s very slow for no particular reason). She would be happiest as an only dog in a low-key household, probably with an older person or couple, where they’re home a lot and simply want a lovely companion who likes to do one or two brief, leisurely walks a day.. She has never lived with a cat, but she is a very submissive dog, so I imagine she’d do quite well in a house with cats. Her owner dosen’t have any children or young relatives, but she does well with children in the park. She’s shy, but does growl or go strange when children overly aggressive with petting or try to hug her.
