Hardest to Rehome – Luna

9th May 2021

This week we would like to shine the spotlight on our gorgeous Luna. Luna is a German shepherd cross. She’s a bright, pretty, sweet girl who has been with us at the paws shelter now about 4 years.

Luna has had a hard time finding the right home due to her not giving the best first impressions to visitors to PAWS. She is very shy and tends to bark at strangers or hiding in the back of her kennel.

She is also an older girl who has some special needs due to her having not had the best start in life. She needs an experienced home with people who have had sensitive dogs before. She also needs time and not live with young children as she can be a shy girl and get nervous in busy or loud environments.

When she first arrived, Luna was traumatised and nervous when she first came to PAWS and because of this, Luna is still wary around people she doesn’t know.

Luna is looking for a quiet, easy going home with experience in looking after and training nervous dogs, who also have the time and patience required to help her settle into a new environment. We believe Luna would be happy as an only dog or with a medium to large sized confident male friend (no females).

With love and commitment we know Luna will blossom into a wonderful, loyal companion.
