Rocco is just one of the many bull breeds looking for a home in PAWs currently. As well as sighthounds, like greyhounds and lurchers, bull breeds in shelters really struggle to get adopted and find a forever home. This is often because they have a negative reputation portrayed in the media whereas this is seldom the case. Every dog, no matter the breed or age, needs some time, understanding and training with a reputable professional. Each dog up for adoption in PAWS is ensured they are suitable for adoption and capable of living in a home environment. The PAWS staff spend all day, every day with the dogs and get to know them well so they can ensure they do their very best to match suitable owners to the dogs and their needs and requirements ahead of adoption.
Rocco is a real snuggle bug who absolutely adores human interaction. He enjoys playing and going on his walks. Rocco can live with a male or female dog who likes to play rough and tumble. Rocco would be best in an adult only home or a home with older teens as he can be excitable. He is a real sweetheart!
