Reopening of the PAWS charity shop in Clonmel!

17th May 2021

It’s been a long lockdown and it’s safe to say the whole community are all very much looking forward to summer and a little easing back to some normalcy with restrictions lifting. We are very excited to be welcoming back all of our shoppers, new and old, to the PAWS charity shop now that non-essential retailers are allowed to reopen from Monday the 17th of May.

Covid 19 has has had a drastic impact on the PAWS funds having had to close our charity shop over lockdown. The charity shop is our only source of steady income so that we are able to pay for the dogs in our care and all of our bills. Its been a particularly difficult time as all of our fundraisers had to be cancelled due to lockdown and we have definitely felt the struggle. We are so excited at the prospect of being able to reopen again and, with a focus on safety and social distancing, see you all again for a catch up and a browse!

We would also like to ask you to consider us if you have been waiting to make donations of any household items, clothes or any other home clear out items. We would love them! You can get rid of all your unwanted stuff and help out the PAWS dogs at the same time!

Management and volunteers are very much looking forward to welcoming you back to the PAWS charity shop on O’Connell Street, Clonmel, E91VW28, from Monday! Look for the Paws logo, our open door and our wagging tails! We’ll be so happy to see you.
