Many, many dogs pass through the gates of PAWS Animal Rescue. Each one has their own story and unique personality. They also all have one thing in common they’re looking for their second chance and a forever home to call their own. Some of them are so unique, their story, and more importantly, their happy ending will stick with you forever. For many of us here at PAWS, it was Dante’s! Formerly Spike when he was at PAWS.
Dante arrived in PAWS after being passed from pillar to post being rehomed time after time by different people through no fault of his own his whole life. Sadly, the stress of all the uprooting had taken its toll on the poor labrador. He had taken to chewing and biting his tail until it was raw.
